Size/Name Information

Depending on what company you pick, they will have the same muzzle listed under different names, numbers/sizes and even measurements. This is why we do not recommend following any of their information and use all the accurate info we have put together for you instead.

Before continuing on we highly suggest you have read over the relevant info on Muzzle Options or What Muzzles Will Fit, Especially if any sizing information is confusing to you.

These are the sizes each seller uses:

MTT: Size 10C

Leerburg: 10C

FDT: None

D&T: None

Europe Stores: 510 or Spitz

These are all the same muzzles, the differences are the nosebands and coating (different from each company). With some exceptions; when sizes have a design upgrade, places might still be selling the old stock for a while so you may get an older/newer size.

Sizes we know of that have slightly new designs: 15F/29C, 16F/65C and 17F/66C.

How It Could Fit

Length: This size works best with noses between 1.75” and 2.25”. Depending on your dog's length, you may need to modify your muzzles noseband. A smaller/bigger measurement will also work in some situations.

Width: This size usually works best with widths between 1.5” and 2”. This measurement is a bit more relaxed but wider is better than narrower. Most muzzles will need some amount of squishing over the nose, which is why width is more relaxed.

Muzzle Height: The 10C has a front height of 2.75”. We always size to a full pant or heightaccurate to a full pant. If measured correctly, this should fit well. Depending on use, sometimes it can be slightly over the measurement where full pant isn’t needed. It’s also fine to be slightly under the height too.

Other measurements: If your dog is on the shorter end of length, the chin length may end up being long, which usually needs different modifications. The only way to tell if this will be an ‘issue’ is to try the muzzle out, most of the time it still works good.

• If your dog is in between sizes we will likely give you two or more options. Please see the other links (if there’s any) for information on size.
